The Head of International Cooperation at the University of the West of Scotland Visited Our School.

    On October 25, 2018, Ms. Chen Jun, Head of Asia Branch University of the West Scotland  and  Dr. David NDZI, Assistant Dean of School of Engineering and Computer Science visited SLC. Vice President Liu Ronggui met with guests in the conference room of the School Administration Building. Vice President Liu Ronggui presided over the talks between the two sides, Xue Shengjun, Dean of the School of Computer Science and Technology, Dean Wang Cuntang, Dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering,  Luo Qi,Director of the Academic Affairs Office, Director Qu Saiying ,the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, and Deputy Director Jiang Yong attended the meeting.

    At the meeting, Vice President Liu expressed sincere welcome to the arrival of the representatives of UWS and gave a brief introduction to the situation of our school. He said that the two schools have a lot of similarities in professional settings, and the two sides are expected to further communicate and exchange, and carry out friendly cooperation in the fields of professional docking, mutual recognition of credits, special promotion projects, and teacher-student exchanges.

    Dr. David expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the leaders and staff of the school for their hospitality and meticulous organization. He said that he hopes that through this negotiation, the two sides will further establish a cooperative relationship, so as to achieve two-way exchanges between teachers and students and academic research and other cooperation, and strive to achieve a win-win situation. Subsequently, Ms. Chen Jun gave a detailed introduction to the school's basic situation, including the school's professional settings, school advantages, study fees, language requirements.

    After the meeting, accompanied by the school leaders and staff of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, representatives from the West Scotland School visited the Cultural and Creative Industry Park and took a group photo.

    The cooperation and negotiation successfully painted a beautiful blueprint for cooperation between the two universities, laying a solid foundation for further substantive cooperation between the two universities, marking a new level of friendly cooperation between the two sides. This is of great significance for further opening up the international exchange situation of our school and realizing the development goal of "education internationalization".
